I really - REALLY - hated Racey. However, they were quite big in

Australia, in 1979 - 'Lay Your Love On Me' was No.1 there for 8 Weeks,

& 5 Weeks later 'Some Girls' was No.1 there for a Month.

i think for me they came too late, if they came 'pre-punk' then their simple pop tunes would have gone down better but with the advent of 'new music' where different sounds were being re-discovered and indeed created, racey were just too.... twee...
