When have you been first involved into the Eurovision (have become addicted i mean)

 

Me - 2003 or 2004 i don't really remember

1996 was the first time I watched it. ^_^ 1997 was the first year I was properly interested though, at the age of seven! :D

Not sure.....I probably watched in when I was young, but I only really remember back to about 2003 and vaguely back to 2000. I think....I remember Dana international winning, but I was only about 7 when that happened so I'm not sure.

 

But I only became really interested in it about 2001-2003

I've watched it since 1999 when I tuned in to see how Precious would do :D

I watched the songs in 1995 but had to go to bed before the voting and found out that Norway won the morning after to my disappointment - I loved Sweden and Spain that year :( I've watched every year since then, although the first year of massive addiction was 2002 :heart:

the first year I was addicted was in 2001...I watched the contest as a regular viewer but came out of it as an obsessive, thanks largely to the absolutely amazing selection of songs :wub: I bought the compilation asap!

Ira, Sahlene, Sestre and Jessica did it for me in 2002 :wub: I was too focused on our own awfulness in 2001! :(

 

1998 i think was the first glimpse i ever saw when i was 7 :o :lol:

i started watching about 2005-2006

2008 is the first time I've been interested in listening to any songs that aren't ours. Before that I watched the year Javine entered and last year as a background noise kind of thing.

Actually my first experience was in 1994...I remember that I couldn't watch it because I was in a 2 days trip with my class :angry: but I was happy when I found out that Hungary came 4th :D Since then I've almost watched every ESC...except 1 year, when we didn't have any channel which broadcasted it (when Hungary wasn't at ESC the TV company didn't broadcast it)...and then we switched to cable tv :D I think I became a fan around 1998-2000

about 2001 but used to just watch the voting luved hearing the accents .... Addicted in 2006

watching the full show was probably 1996...and well from the Macedonian debute in 1998 till know each show LIVE of course :P ^_^

Didn't Macedonia almost enter in 1997 too? But got knocked out in that pre-qualification thing with Germany and some others?

From what I've heard they tried to send a 15 year old Karolina in 1995 as well! :o :lol: Obviously they were denied...and that was 1996 with the pre-qualification David :P

Karolina appeared on Skopje Fest in 1994 and 1995 but the 1st winner that tryed to go to ESC from the festival was Kaliopi in 1996!she did not passed the qualifications :(

so our official debute is 1998 in the UK ^_^

As one of the old timers here (despite being 26!), my first one was 1993. (And how times change - there were only three Eastern European countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia) then.)
