It looks doubtful we will get another release now to be honest - Especially now they are working on their 5th album, i think they will just end up working on this to be honest!
As much i would love to see Girl Overboard get a realese, the chances of another single from TU are zero.

Girl Overboard will be one of those unknown gems to the wider public like Graffiti My Soul

Sort of makes it more special though

Its gona be really interesting to see what happens for the rest of this year.

I'm not sure we will get album 6 this year as we have the TU dvd, the passions dvd and the book coming out. I still think there's a huge chance they will end up doing the children in need song too.

I'd love it to be out this year but I think around June July time next year myself!

noone has come close to having a great CIN single since the Girls themselves (including beating the Spice Girls and a Spice Girl ) I'd love them to do it again

me too, i have a good feeling about it as there arent many candidates now as its usually british pop acts.

McFly are back soon, along with Robbie (i think) and Sophie Ellis Bextor - all of those are good candidates as they're either typical choices or desperate for exposure so it may well not be GA recording this years CIN single.

I'd love them to do it though - bag another no.1, kick off the new album in style. They'd release the CIN (first single off the new album) in Nov, second single in Feb and the 6th album in March and do really well IMO.

It would be great for them to do an 'S Club 7 style' CIN song something with abit of power to it! get them writers on board!
Yeah, i mean a fun loving track could give them another 4 week stay at no.1.

I've got a feeling we may got a new single annoucment at the beginning of June (hopefully Girl Overboard), then the single comes out beginning of July, then 1st 6th album single out in October, 2nd single and album in December.

To be honest, i can't see the girls doing the Children In Need single, for some reason i think Same Difference might do it

No way will they ever let SD do it - too much of a risk. It would be awful for their to be a backlash to the two of them and their song and therefore not make any money for the charity. BBC and all other links would never, ever let an artist like SD with no real success in recorded music anywhere near a money making charity exercise like CIN.

I hope we get the album from GA in Nov like usual but i have a feeling with everything going on this year like the massive tour, tv show and dvd releases it wont get a release until '09.

Shane Richie in 2003?

I recently read that the girls are "working on a new pussycat dolls number", dunno if that has anything to do with it.

They are a hugely popular candidate as all their songs have gone top 10 and both their previous charity songs have gone number 1 so its gaurenteed to do well which is what its all about really - selling loads to make money.

I'm not sure Robbie would want to come back with a charity track like that and theres no way they would risk SD.

Shane Richie in 2003?

It was the least successful CIN single in 6 years though (sales-wise) and it has to be noted that every performer since then has been well establised and sold at least 1.5 million records up to the point of them releasing the charity track.

Just stating the facts that i highly doubt SD will do this years track and that GA have more of a chance!

I'm not sure if they'll work like that now. I mean, last year with Spice Girls - i don't think anyone thought it would be a risk them doing the track, infact, it should have helped them further and they got no more than #11 - the worst position for a CIN single in years!

While it would be great if Girls Aloud do another CIN single, i don't think they should. They'll start making a risk of looking like they are desperete to do charity singles in order to get #1
