I just realised that the first hour of the Eurovision final clashes with Britain's Got Talent, so expect lower viewing figures than usual this year. This also means that many casual viewers in the UK will miss the first 15 songs or so, so expect most of the UK's votes to go to the last few songs! Bodes worryingly well for Spain :(

It's on next week ain't it...lucky for me as i have Sky+ :P

I didn't know britains got talent was that popular! :o

I'd much rather watch the eurovision instead of some guy trying(and failing) to spin plates upside down(or something silly like that) <_<

Nah I reckon the Eurovision shall win over as it is a one off event rather than a series.

In terms of audience size, last year the Eurovision got 8.77million viewers at its peak and two weeks ago BGT got 9.12 million (may have dropped slightly) so they're very similar

I just found out im goin to miss Eurovision :( :( :( :( :(

The whole family is goin to a party

lucky i have Sky+

wont be the same

I can officially see a large number of the UK's points now going to Spain...if Ireland don't make it, they may even get the 12!
I think it will be a very sad reflection of the British public if they think Britain's Got Talent is a better show than Eurovision, as all three judges on BGT are awful IMHO.

I know which one I'm watching. :D

Britain's Got Talent is so dragged out this year, it was better last year when the whole show lasted one week, being shown everyday. So far it's just been auditions every week, they're usually the best part, but they're getting boring now. This week we find out who goes through to the semi-finals, but not before we get a few more auditions.

I really hope more people watch Eurovision, but I doubt it. Most people will only have Andy Abraham as a motive to tune in and hardly anyone likes his entry. Goodness knows why, we, the public, voted for him. I'd force all the idiots who voted for him to watch, just to see what a stupid decision they made.

I'd say figures for 'Britain's Got Talent' will slide from the current 8.5m (ish) to around six million tbh. Eurovision will comfortably win overall, and the audience share will be over 50% when the results are coming in.

Gahh I can't wait now!!! Six days! :w00t:

even tho i like watching BGT (even with my dad going on and on that most acts are actors put up to be c**p) - i will be watching and recording eurovision 1st - and hoping my family will do a draw like they do with the horses on the grand national - BGT will be rpt on ITV1/2 loads of times thru the week!!!

Hmm interesting. I heard Norway is last though, so it may bode well for them :D

I reckon ESC will win the ratings war!
