Usher 'Moving Mountains'

Jive

August 2008

He's gotten serious for the second series. It's like following a sequence isn't it? Oh yeah the 'Confessions' sequence. Shame the releases aren't as good though.

Trying to do a new 'Burn' but this will no where be as good IMO! :( But i still like this song! But why has he decided to do dancey ballads! and Un-Inspiring stuff! Confessions had upbeat, pop, ballad, RnB stuff!

This is a bit boring compared! :(

I already started a topic on this further down the page :o

The music vid is absolutely fabulous. :o The thought and effort (and cash) which has gone into that is something massive.

And the song really grew on me! A very strong second single imo. ^_^

the video is a beast, but its quite a boring song

i wonder if this will be a bit of a flop comeback

^Don't be so silly, nothing of such a nature has been confirmed. It's all just fan speculation at this stage - why would they plan a re-release before even seeing the first week sales?! :heehee:
By the time of Usher's fourth studio album, Confessions, he had become a megastar - and then found himself embroiled in a mega-rivalry with Justin Timberlake after saying, "There simply is no comparison between me and Justin. He can't even stand in the same lane as me, ever."

Today's Usher is suitably apologetic.

"I regret it," he says, shaking his head, "because he's a great friend of mine now. I was young and didn't know better.

"We were both being kids and he turned out to be a really cool guy, and we're talking about doing something together for the repackaging of my album. If we ever worked together, though, it would be the biggest record ever."

Loool @ his outburst on TRL. OH DARR.

'Here I Stand' is the sonic equivalent of diarrhea.

Ha, I just watched that. He'd have looked so dignified and intelligent had he left it at the comment about the rumours not being true, but when you hog camera space, take off your shades and make comments about being a loving, middle-aged black man with a wife who isn't 40 or whatever shit he was chatting, you've kind of lost it.

I'm so far not really impressed with his album! A couple of good songs stand out on first listen but not as exciting or amazing as 8701! Love in the club pt2 is soooooooo much better than part1 though which is good!! Really don't like the opening song 'forever young'...what kind of song is that to open an album?
