Someone need's to visit this forum a little more. :o

With all the new album soon and such I expect you to visit EVERY DAY from now on. ^_^

Still, come on new album!

I don't know what it is, but something has put me right off Lily Allen recently. :/

I don't think she'll be as popular as this time round either.

^^ Yeah I agree actually I think it's because when she first started imo there was no-one else like her, she was fresh and unique. But now like The Ting Tings I guess they are quite similar, Kate Nash etc.

But anyhow I can't wait for this album, I'm loving the tracks leaked which give us a taster :D

UPDATE :cheer: :

Lily Allen has confirmed that she has finished work on her sophomore album.

The popstar, who visited Glastonbury festival over the weekend, said she would be meeting her label this week to discuss the record.

"I'm pretty much sure it's finished and I've got a meeting on Tuesday with the label, I'm really happy," she told the BBC.

Allen previewed three new songs on her MySpace page in recent months. A track called 'Guess Who Batman' was inspired by the singer's dislike for the British National Party.

Excellent news

I'm so looking forward to the album. I love her alot. The three tracks she has put up on her myspace are ALL bloody brilliant aswell.

I've really high hopes for her.

Lily Allen's new album will be called Stuck On The Naughty Step.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the popstar admitted that the title reflects how she is portrayed in the press.

"I feel like I'm stuck in a hole where people say, 'Lily, you're bad. Go think about what you've done'," she said.

The album, which she recorded with Mark Ronson and Greg Kurstin in LA, is likely to feature the three new tracks she recently released on her MySpace page.

Allen also defended her collapse at the Glamour Awards, saying that getting drunk is something everyone does in their 20s.

"Who, at age 23, hasn't passed out from alcohol?" she commented. "I just happen to have photographers following me."

However, Allen was keen to stress that her lifestyle has not affected her work ethic, saying: "I haven't drunk the whole time I've been here in LA, and I'm up every day at 8."
