Now at the moment there's a lot of talk in the papers about Ronaldo and what's going to happen with his future. Now I really dislike Man Utd, and I think although Ronaldo is a great player he really needs to grow up, and this little episode of his just proves it. :manson: The way he's treating Man Utd is down right utterly disgusting. He's contracted to Man Utd, so he shouldn't be going around telling the media that in 2-3 weeks he'll "decide his future". This is unless he's playing a game with Man Utd, in that he's wanting a new and improved contract from them. Apparently Real Madrid have offered him a contract of £150,000 per week that that's AFTER tax. Now no player should be getting payed that amount of money, and especially not a little greaseball baby.

After the Euros I think it's painfully obvious that he'll be moving on from Man Utd. The good thing for Man Utd is that they'll get a HUGE amount of money (especially if he plays well at the Euros).

He actes like he is 15. I like Man.Utd. and Ronaldo is a great player but he really needs to grow up.

And Man.Utd. will get more than a lot of money for him. They will be able to buy 11 new players.

  • 4 weeks later...

Every player has a price, and Fergie knows it, and has proved if a player crosses him, they're out. He literally kicked Beckham out (boot-gate :heehee:) and sent Van Nistelrooy on his way after he sulked for being dropped for the Carling Cup final.

One player doesn't make the team, so have fun in Spain Ronaldo, don't come crying back when it all goes Michael Owen.

I think it'd be a big mistake for him to leave Man Utd.

After he says too many times he want to play for Real and all of his comments to the press, it's better for him leaving Man Utd, cause sir Alex send him to the bench!!!! :(

No player is bigger than the club. I am actually with Fergie on this one, and I think Man Utd would be better off without him. I do think that Ronaldo believes that he is better than he actually is, and this is only because the media bum him with everything he does. Yes he's a good player, but for £60m?! You could easily replace him and still have a LOT of change. You don't go and sign a big contract and then decide you want out of it. God I hate Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has proved once again what a disgusting attitude he has to Manchester United and football in general. All of these United fans saying the club will be over without him? We won't win a thing without him? Get a grip :manson: Yes he's a good player but it's about time people opened their eyes and realised the way he is treating the club, and in particular SAF who helped him a hell of a lot after WorldCup-gate, is vile. He'll "make his decision in the next couple of weeks", banning his own MANAGER from the Portugal training camp, urgh. As it's already been said no player is bigger than the club and Fergie knows this more than anyone.

Cristiano Ronaldo has proved in the last 24 months thanks to SAF, you can turn a diving cheat into the best player in the world; but he is still a low life, cheating, double-crossing, disloyal winker.

I'm sorry, but anyone who could do that to a fellow club team mate, does not know the meaning of the word loyalty, let alone how to spell it.

If I was SAF, I would take the £70 million on offer or take £46 million & Robinho, any day of the week.

Well, that's true. And I don't like him as a player, so I don't really care. Just he'll make the same mistake as Beckham.

They could not be any further different.

David Beckham was forced away from the club he loved as a child by SAF & Man Utd accepting £25 million for him from Barcelona, which he refused to accept, eventually going to arch rivals Real Madrid, where in each of his four seasons at the club he made the La Liga Team of the season.

Hardly a failure at Real Madrid, especially as he won Real's player of the Season twice out of those four seasons (topping the La Liga assists chart in 3 of those 4 seasons), when in his final season he was virtually single handedly responsible for their revival to win the League Title when he was recalled from the wilderness by Capello when Real where 14 Pts adrift of the League leaders lying and in 6th position with 16 Games remaining, to win the League Title on the last game of the season.

In short his Spanish adventure was no Michael Owen disaster.

Well, that's true.

What do you think Ronaldo will make in Real?

Well, that's true.

What do you think Ronaldo will make in Real?

It depends, like any great player today when playing against world class sides, it all depends if Real Madrid are prepared to build the team around him, like Barcelona did a few years ago with Ronaldinho or not.

He has been fortunate that he has had the likes of Wayne Rooney effectively sacrifice himself for the greater good of the club to make Cristiano look as good as he has been. But will Real do the same as what Man Utd have done, that will be the question?

As we saw from Portugal's fixture against Germany, he was sacrificed to make Deco look good, and the same type of thing could happen at Real Madrid. Personally, I think he is a fool for wanting to leave Manchester Utd. And I am a Liverpool supporter who will be delighted if he does leave.

I'd much rather he stayed at Man Utd. Machester United with an extra £70m to their budget could be leathal. They could buy any players in the world they wanted. Ronaldo is only "so" good because Man Utd base their whole team around him. Yes he scored a lot of goals last season, but so many of them were from penalties and set play. Real Madrid won't base their team around him... so I think he's an idiot for leaving Man Utd, which is inevitable that it's going to happen.

I wonder what the odds are next season of Man Utd meeting Real Madrid in the Champions League are too.

The only mistake Beckham's ever made was leaving Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo will this week demand Manchester United sell him to Real Madrid - as a reward for his loyalty. (News of the World).

 priceless!
