Sorry, what did he do wrong? Turkey won fair and square and if anything he favoured you, he booked Turkish players for studs and elbow but failed to book a Croatian for a high foot. All three should've got the same. The ref had a very good game, unless you're talking about the THREE seconds he played beyond the one added minute. Well, it's entirely up to the ref when to stop and A) They never stop during an attack and B.) It's a MINUMUM of X minutes extra time, not exactly X minutes. Although Croatia were the better side you have to take your chances. Time after time you had good ones but couldn't put them away, it's not as if you forced Rustu into more than one decent save, Turkey had one chance and scored.

They gave goal in 122 minute, as I remember 90 + 30 = 120. and 4th judge didn't signal that there is 2 more mintues of extras. so that was wrong.
June 21, 200817 yr It's looking like the (© Danny Baker) golden rule of all Football matches that goes to penalties, means the side least deserving will win. ..... Which is very bad news for Croatia. :( Well Danny Baker's theory of penalty shoot out's was proven correct. With the sub rule that the man of the match (Modric - Spurs have bought a really great player there) is guaranteed to miss his penalty. Still what an amazing last five minutes. To quote Radio 5 Live's commentary after 119 minutes by Alan Green ".... And Croatia have qualified for the Semi Finals of the European Championships..." One for the year end bloopers of the year then.
