I think this round is pretty much ruined now because of Xylem not reading the rules. :mellow: Sorry to single you out, but perhaps you should have read before playing.

I didn't notice anyone else making that mistake and the game has been running smoothly for the past eight weeks.

 

I don't see how it could have been explained any more than it was:

Oh dear :mellow: How about calculating the songlist with the exact votes, eliminating by the rule the Xylem doubled? :rolleyes: After all, Pavel should be here calculating the things if he's launching a game <_< I'm always near my game after all...

And to Xylem, called Mykka (as an old friend) these rules for the new type of a survivor are to be read :o Everyone can just put new quota, and new outstanding for not voting (for a song again) :lol:

In my games, that are made over this new survivor era (no more voting by rounds and calculating, but just continuous strikeouts), everybody can vote again, important is that they wait for a minimum of posters (depending of the strike out quota for a song), and that's about it :P

Pavel's rules were pretty obvious for me (because I read them carefully) , but posters here play also my games that are a bit different by rules :D So Mr. Pavel, please do revise the list and tell Xylem the good game list, as I did on the first week of UK Ariplay survivor... He got the rules, he played the game (he's a moderator :P ). xox.

I thought you weren't supposed to vote twice for the same song in a row. Not voting for the same song makes no sense cos eventually you'll have to vote for something that you've already voted before anyway, unless you vote for the few songs you like which is just stupid.

 

That's why my games are different :lol: But with only 3 strikes out you cannot vote twice for a song :P I put the 4 strikes out and a minimum of 2 posters behind your last vote, and you can vote again for the same song ;)

Pavel created a quick game, so with just 3 strikes out, and a vote again after the first poster that voted, it's impossible to accept ya voting for the same song -_-

This is the explanation for Pavel's rules dear Mykka -_- My rules are more elaborate and they take a second to understand them (even if on Buzzjack, critics said , as always, they're too elaborated :( ).... xox.

Why should Pavel have to revise the list or make any changes, as you said the rules are pretty obvious and everyone who has played for the past eight weeks has managed to understand the rules. I'm not sure what Xylem being a moderator has to do with anything. I also played your game and I can remember the different rules.

 

I think you're also expecting a bit much from Pavel, he can't be at the PC 24/7 to check if people are playing his game correctly - people should be able to play the game without many big mistakes happening.

But strangely, you said this round is cancelled? :o He's not at he's PC now, but I'm sure he wants the round to finish... Can I understand where is the mistake, beyond's Xilem's double voting, and revise the list by myself? :lol: I'm the survivors editor, so I care about these things, when I'm at my PC ^_^ xox.

I didn't say it was cancelled. I'm just not playing while the game is messed up like this.

 

I suppose Pavel wont mind if you go back and fix where Xylem went wrong although this is probably going to mess up the order of elimination because The Pigeon Detectives will still be in play when they probably would have been eliminated earlier. I don't think Pavel keeps a record of the top 40 songs in order anyway, maybe just the top 3 - or even just the winner...

There's not really a list at the moment because Xylem voted for some songs more than once - which is not allowed in Pavel's game. (and rightly so!)

I really don't understand what you just said.

 

The reason we have this as a quick game is because we'd like the game to end before the next chart is announced, which just wouldn't happen if we used your rules. Some games just drag on for far too long and I think this version is fine because a song must be voted by three different people to be eliminated, whereas in your game someone can single-handedly eliminate a song. (like I did with Sonique in your airplay game)

Righty so not accepted to vote for the same song if a song requests only 3 strikes out... But who keeps the list over the songs that each voter strikes over???

Xylem is the main voter over this round with 35 posts :unsure: If I cut a vote over the songs that were out, the others that got out OK are OK to be on those positions, and the songs that will have +2 to re-enter the game? :huh:

This is too complicated because this quick game thing is to be supervised :blink: I'm sure if I check the toher 8 rounds people double voted :teresa: It's an impossible rule, and somebody has to moderate the ga,e if no double votes are accepted (if ot, let me remember 20 songs out of 40 I voted for :P ).

Well you know how you can only give a vote to each song once? Well, Xylem voted for some songs twice, which isn't allowed. So basically some songs that were voted out shouldn't have been and now it's messed up the game really. -_-
