These last few episodes look immense, let's hope it lives up to expectation ^_^

(Sheepish) :drama: : I'm afraid I'll be watching Britain's Got (To make Simon Cowell's wallet even bigger) Talent on ITV instead, but I will watch this episode on the BBCiPlayer instead tomorrow, when I can give it the attention it will deserve.

Quite - why is it on at the same time as Britain's Got talent?

Oh $h!t- I don't know whether to watch Britians Got Talent or Doctor Who - I spose I could Iplayer it later tonight...
I'm watching Doctor Who - that come first in anything for me. I'm going to just try and catch up on Britain's Got Talent.

Yeah sorry, I'd rather give my ratings to Doctor Who, if Simon Cowell's wallet gets any bigger than his ego he won't be able to leave the studios he'll be so huge!!!!

I'm hoping DW delivers from here on in, just 3 more weeks till Rose's return, the trailer certainly looked awesome and episode 7 was brilliant so I'm expecting good things now.

Well... for anyone who didn't watch the episode, it was the best epsiode this series 10/10 the story had me hooked right from the start. Great concept. One of the classic episodes to be remember beautifully written by Stephen Moffat, keep them coming Stephen

Donna Noble has left the library

I managed to get the gist of both Dr Who and BGT so far :P

Well, you can tell that was a Moffatt episode - depth, character, storyline, plot, menace... it had it all!

10/10

i agree, its the best so far, great concept indeed.

pity the stupid girl got eaten, loved that idea of having a complete idiot in the team.... but i dont like tracey ann oberman..

Tracy Ann Oberman? :o I KNEW I recognised her, how could I not tell?! Hasn't she been in Doctor Who before?

Personally I'm just left with a giant WTF at that episode.

8/10 despite confusion.

This was a good episode. I've very high hopes for when Moffat takes over the series. Doctor Who is meant to be scary (or chilling at least) and this episode captured that. It brought up certain things that will make kids especially think (a la nightmares being the "real world", creatures in the dark etc.) but for me it went a little bit too Matrix esque with the whole real world and the little girl's world. Still, an enjoyable episode... i'd like to know who that woman is though, as would most people so it seems.
oh...i read a spoiler, i know who she is, but dunno how to blank out typing so i cant say!
Tell meeeeeeee!
Oh

Well, I need to watch it again tonight on BBC3 but I have to say Steven Moffat has done it again, such a brilliant opening episode.

The fear of darkness was a great concept, my group at uni chose this as our concept for our end of year performance, though it wasn't anywhere near as good as this episode.

I want to know what Alex Kingston's character has in common with the Doctor, I don't know if I'm right but hasn't the Doctor been to the 51st century before???? But I can't wait for next week now, brilliant acting all round and CT was ace tonight.

The script was well written, if not a little confusing at the same time, but I loved the whole 'spoilers' thing, I've got a feeling this could set up the finale but that's why i hate DW, in that you just want to know what's going when you're given so many teasers.

I'm going to give Episode 8 a mark (and this could change) of

9.5/10
