May 31, 200817 yr My personal favourite performance was Kate Nicholas & Gin in the audition stage. Edited June 3, 200817 yr by SkiBaBopBaDopBop
May 31, 200817 yr I'm so glad George won, I really liked his audition from series 1, so I was disappointed when he didn't get through that year. In retrospect it's probably better that he came back this year as he would have almost definitely lost to Paul Potts. I don't think George is a one trick pony. Andrew Johnston, Escala and Kate & Gin all performed the same as their first auditions, George just stands out because it was more recent. I think he may have had a problem anyway - I was watching the ITV2 show yesterday and they said that he was going to mix two songs together, but it wasn't ready, so he wasn't going to have long to perform. I would assume he played it safe and went with a routine he knew he could do as opposed to one he couldn't rehearse for long enough. I can't believe Faryl and Escala didn't make the top 3, but I'm glad because I really didn't like their acts, though I could see they were talented. All this excitement for Prince Charles though. I mean, really.....! I know. On one hand I enjoy watching the show because the acts are good, but on the other hand it's to find an act for the Royal Variety Show and I don't care who goes on to perform there - I just see it as another money raking reality show. I am so shocked! George was very good though. ^_^ Should've put a bet on. :arrr: I feel the same, I was looking at the odds earlier and George was quite an outsider - I was thinking of putting a fiver on him, I could have had £100. -_-
June 1, 200817 yr I was shocked that George won it tbh, I thought the top 5 best acts of the night were: 1. Signature 2. Escala 3. Faryl Smith 4. George Sampson 5. Andrew Johnston I would have loved Siganture to have won it, everytime they performed they made me smile, but I think George's routine wasn't that different to his semi final performance, of which Simon Cowell said the same on ITV2, but the 5 acts I've mentioned above were my favourite's that I was able to watch but I have to say, I much prefer BGT and cannot wait for it to come back in 2009!!!!
June 1, 200817 yr I don't see what was so good about Signature- They were rather 'embarrising dad dancing' type of people. They wasn't that good.
June 1, 200817 yr Britain's Got Talent: the Final Result got an average 13.1m/55.7% last night. It's the most watched show of the year so far, nudging Coronation Street down into second.
June 1, 200817 yr It also got a one minute peak of 14.4m/61% when the winner was announced. :o Credit to rzt at Digital Spy forums for that.
June 1, 200817 yr Author Simon will sign Escala, and Faryl is hoping for a million quid record deal. :o That's gonna be ONE fukked up girl!
June 1, 200817 yr Simon will sign Escala, and Faryl is hoping for a million quid record deal. :o That's gonna be ONE fukked up girl! Really? Her music won't sell!
June 1, 200817 yr Author Really? Her music won't sell! You never know, Paul Potts [:manson:] got to #1 in over 13 Countries [:manson:]!
June 1, 200817 yr You never know, Paul Potts [:manson:] got to #1 in over 3 Countries [:manson:]! In over 3 countries? Is that 3 and a half then or 4?
June 1, 200817 yr Author In over 3 countries? Is that 3 and a half then or 4?  Type mistake, it was an impressive 13. :o
June 1, 200817 yr Mint Royale for No1 on iTunes then tommorow. I have just downloaded it #28 and #32 at the moment
June 1, 200817 yr It was pretty obvious Escala or Faryl weren't going to make the top 3. Suprised at Signature though...I don't rate them at all.
