Just like everything else has to be nowadays *Yawns* To Be Honest im surprised he didnt say it sooner... because everything that doesnt go their way now means that everythings racist...

Maybe the fact that the UK along with France (which had a very good song btw), Spain and Germany I believe, didn't need to qualify for the final via the semi's meant that they all had poor scores (from what I've read) in the final.

Now imagine the UK had to go through the rigours of a semi final, would you vote for any country's entrant that was (how do I phrase this) "parachuted" into the final?

Interesting point..... I would imagine that it would cause general resentment tbh, and just naturally set people against a particular entry just on principle... The fact that certain countries are allowed to bypass the qualifying stages is surely favouritism in itself.... I really don't think it's jusitified for us to have a guaranteed spot just because we contribute a pretty paltry £172 grand to the competition.... Could you imagine, say, the FA "contributing" money to UEFA or FIFA to give England a pass through the qualifying stages of the Euro Cup or World Cup....? It would pretty much cause universal outrage....

 

Having polish friends and they have told me that there are racial tendancies in Poland against black people and Germans,

and oddly Russians too, but if they didnt like us they wouldnt come to the UK would they.

 

I think the show should be split up into three shows

 

Eurovision (The original European entries)

Eurovision (Eastern bloc)

Eurovision (Other areas around the world)

 

maybe a 4th including the winning top 5's from the shows above
