How does it seem that this is still going to happen? Nothing has been officially confirmed from a reliable source. :unsure: All Access took 'Radar' off of their radio release list quite a few days ago and FMQB just took 'Radar' off of their radio release list today. Breathe Heavy posted an article saying RIP Radar today. Also, for some reason someone posted on Wikipedia that Jive confirmed today that the single wasn't being released in favor of new material to be released later this year. :lol: I don't know what everyone wants to believe right now but to me it seems like a 'Radar' release has been scrapped.

I'm going with it's being scrapped. It would be extremly pointless to release it, surely?

I don't think it would be pointless if a good music video was filmed for it. It'd be good promo for the single and U.S. radio would probably pick it up like the last 3 Blackout singles. 'Radar' could've probs helped Blackout sales too... but I guess Jive is in favor of a new album instead.

This is very stupid. If they announced the full release, and even got the cover, and shot the video, why do they cancel?! I think this could've done really well.

I think it's best to move on...I think Britney and Jive both want to save her actually being on top of things for the next album, not the 4th single off of her last album.

Well... not to come off as rude-sounding or anything but I think Britney still has had her share of time off during the Blackout releases. All she really did for promo was film two music videos, right? That's besides the VMA performance though.

 

I agree that it's really good for her to have more time for herself right now though. She definitely needs it and deserves it after everything she's been through. It's nice that she still finds time to go into the recording studio to record new songs already too.

I will be happy with whatever she does next I will support her no matter what ^_^ If she wants to release Radar... GO Ahead it will be great but if she wants new material and to relax a little (Stress Free relaxation would be nice though) then Brill! I just hope she doesnt stop making music :heart:

as much as I think the song is great I don't think It would do particularly well anywhere, I think It would struggle to go Top 20 over here
