Posted June 7, 200817 yr I have seen the trailer 4 times in the last hour or so, so are you gonna be watching it? K588VwOZPbw Looks like an action Comedy sorta thing.

You don't have a Cineworld cinema locally...? If so, you really should take advantage of their Unlimited Cinema card for £15 a month.... I'm regularly doing double or even TRIPLE bills every week pretty much.....

I'm regularly doing double or even TRIPLE bills every week pretty much..... Isn't it £11.99 now? I used to LOVE that card, saw some films twice in one day  I had to cancel it because I don't go the cinema at uni, but I did appreciate that so much!
June 7, 200817 yr Isn't it £11.99 now? I have to £14.99 cos I got to cinemas in the West End... Still worth it though, considering there's three available to me in that area, and they tend to show pretty varied stuff....
June 7, 200817 yr Hancock, Will Smith Superhero Movie - July 2008 I have seen the trailer 4 times in the last hour or so, so are you gonna be watching it? K588VwOZPbw Yeah it looks very good - tho for a moment i thought i was gonna be joining a discussion about the rebel - i like the bit on the train where Hancock's on the other platform and two trains pull up at the same time - classic!!!  http://modculture.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/hancock_film1_1.jpg
June 8, 200817 yr I have never seen a 'Cineworld' any where ever but it sounds amazing someone should replace the rip off that is Vue in Reading with one.

Blimey, we've even got a 6-screen Cineworld in my hometown of Dundee (which makes it very handy when I go back home)... Is Reading some sort of rural backwater???? Can't stand the Vue, they are a total bloody rip-off tbh.....
June 9, 200817 yr I have never seen a 'Cineworld' any where ever but it sounds amazing someone should replace the rip off that is Vue in Reading with one. There's the ne one in Wycombe! But that's an actual trek just to see a film ahah.
June 19, 200817 yr Having seen the trailer, I have to say that I quite like the idea of presenting Superheroes as pissed-off, cantankerous, grumpy, misanthropic sods..... The bit where Hancock throws the whale back in the ocean and it hits the yacht is just fukkin' hilarious......  Unfortunately, you just know that because this is a "hollywoody" film that Hancock is probably gonna become a "better person" or some such mawkish schtick through the course of the film..... Which is a pity, I like the idea of a cynical, grumpy superhero at odds with life who just goes "well, I suppose I have to help....." instead of being all goody-goody.....
June 19, 200817 yr Having seen the trailer for this its looks pretty stupid and a bit far fetched, I rather see a Superman movie
June 20, 200817 yr Having seen the trailer for this its looks pretty stupid and a bit far fetched, I rather see a Superman movie What, more far-fetched than, say, "Heroes"...? In fact, how is it more far-fetched than "Superman"....?
June 20, 200817 yr What, more far-fetched than, say, "Heroes"...? In fact, how is it more far-fetched than "Superman"....?  Yeah its like saying thats its so far fetched that Lana Lang faked her own death and ended up in China in Smallville and then realizing its a SF show after all
June 20, 200817 yr  Yeah its like saying thats its so far fetched that Lana Lang faked her own death and ended up in China in Smallville and then realizing its a SF show after all  To be honest, I find it easier to believe in a super-powered individual with character flaws and a grumpy sort of "I dont give a fukk" attitude than I do most of the characters in "Heroes" - 'Save the cheerleader, save the world' is monumentally stupid if you sit and analyze it....  The whole concept of Superman's great weakness being a bit of the planet that he was BORN ON doesn't hold up to much scrutiny either......
