Azerbaijan seemed a bit...'novelty' to me...why else would they be dressed up as angel and devil (i think the other one was a devil...) :lol:

I think it was more theatrical than novelty, much like Lithuania's entry

Well we had Ireland, Spain, Estonia and Latvia, which I don't think anybody could dispute were novelty entries.

 

Then we had Bosnia-Herz, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Belgium and Cyprus, of which any, none or all could be called novelty entries depending on your point of view.

 

I think having pretty much the first novelty entry in the BJSC (unless you count Infant Sorrow last time), would have been no bad thing...I couldn't really see it becoming a regular occurrance like in the ESC.

I'm expecting Dulpaen to sign up as well, so it's looking good for him so far. He isn't really sure on a song though so that's why he's taking a while to step forward and sign up. I think everyone else who wants to play has probably signed up by now.

I think the contest is shaping up good so far. I was just looking through and I think it will be hard to pick a top 10 even if when they are put into two groups. I was just looking at it from 1-20 and 21-40 on this thread (not going to be the actual split) and it was difficult to pick 10 and I haven't heard every song yet.
