It's a new #1! The LCDs slip to four after the ad for GTA 4 seems to have disappeared. Rising swiftly to the top in its place is Madonna and 4 Minutes. I said last week how this has grown on me in the last few weeks and this week it just beats out Gabriella Cilmi to claim the top spot. Also rising in the top 10 are Aussie garage rockers The Vines upto #6 and Duffy continues to move back up the chart with Warwick Avenue. New at #8 are The Levellers, those fine purveyors of dog on a string crusty anthems, with their new free download single Burn America Burn which looks at the gun culture of the states and mass shootings etc.

Outside the Top 10 there are 2 new entries. At #14 Johnny Cash re-enters the chart, this time with his wife June, with the duet Jackson. This has charted largely due to the premiere of Walk the Line on C4 the week before last. At # 17, Vampire Weekend enter with their 2nd chart entry. Oxford Comma follows their number 4 hit from this Spring A-Punk.
