August 14, 200817 yr Update on Will's myspace More Let it Go News Let It Go is Will's most personal album to date with him experimenting with various genres from disco, soul and funk to orchestral chamber pop. Says Will of the new album, 'I tried to focus on what I do really well. I wanted to simplify. I concentrated on lyrics, melodies and voices; where the listener feels like they are in the room with the singer, you can really hear every last breath.' He co-wrote the single, 'Changes' and the delicate title track, 'Let It Go' with Eg White as well as 'I Won't Give Up', which was mixed by the Freemasons. He says of the single, 'Changes', 'This is one of my most personal songs. I was in a bit of a rut and I didn't even know it. Writing about the changes I needed to make actually helped me get out of a situation where I felt trapped by my own actions. That really is songwriting as therapy!' Will has also continued his partnership with long-time producer Steve Lipson on 'Tell Me The Worst' and 'Love' while other producers include Richard 'Biff' Stannard, Ash Howe, Mike Spencer (Queen, Jamiroquai, Kylie) and Robot Club (Massive Attack).
