June 11, 200817 yr 2000 was the year of the most #1s in a year ever, was it not? Maybe the sales were more spread out?
June 11, 200817 yr what on earth happened in 2000...I do remember that year being a period of a hefty drop in sales... I think it had a lot to do with illegal download sites opening that year, or taking some sort of large increase in sales, like Napster.
