Posted June 10, 200817 yr Denise Van Outen has claimed that the media should focus on clean-cut stars like Leona Lewis. The TV star said she was disappointed that tabloids concentrate on the antics of troubled celebrities like Amy Winehouse instead of positive success stories. Speaking to Cosmopolitan, she said: "I couldn't believe it when I opened the paper the other day and saw a massive picture of Amy Winehouse, completely off her face. "What bothered me was that in the corner was a tiny story congratulating Leona Lewis for storming the US charts. "If you ask me, we should be bigging her up, not people who are struggling with drugs."
June 11, 200817 yr I agree. Nothing against Amy. I think she has a great voice, but her personal problems should remain personal IMO. It's almost as if they are portraying her as a role model.
June 15, 200817 yr Finally. There are very few celebs out there who see sense. Im just surprised it was Denise :P
