James Morrison has joined forces with Nelly Furtado to do a song that is set to appear on his next album.

I reckon the gravel-voiced crooner could have a worldwide smash on his hands.

James’ debut album, Undiscovered, was a huge No1 when it was released in the summer of 2006.

Meanwhile, Grammy-winning Nelly is an absolute hit machine all over the world.

The pair were yesterday in her native Canada recording their track, called "Broken Strings".

James’ next CD is due out in September.

Released as his second single sometime in December. We'll here it when his album is released which is sometime in September woo.

I’VE heard JAMES MORRISON’s duet with NELLY FURTADO and the Smart money is on a No1 for the gravel-voiced warbler.

The Cornish soulster has teamed up with Maneater singer Nelly to deliver new ballad Broken Strings, and I’ve had an exclusive listen.

 

For months James has been holed up in the studio working on his next album.

 

His debut Undiscovered, which went straight to No1, will be a hard act to follow though.

 

Wow :o Its apparently the first single to be taken from his album too. Due in a month or so...

He's only ever had one good song (Undiscovered), but I don't know how well their voices would go together. :lol: Although at least Nelly won't be doing anything RnBish..

Not best mates but she was really cool. I only met her for a day but she was cool and into my music. She sent me an e-mail saying we should hook up next time she’s in London. The song we did together is for people who are in c**p relationships and have the realisation it’s not working.

Nelly sounds so different I think :o I don't really like James at all but Nelly makes it a great song. Its very lovely.
