Posted June 16, 200817 yr So someone (no-one knows who, probably an extra) sneaked a camera into the set and recorded the final scenes of HSM3 which includes a song called High School Musical You cant see much but it may spoil some viewing... RHND6pqFMNI High School Musical 3 is out in Cinema's October 24th (US) with the Soundtrack being released on October 21st
June 17, 200817 yr Is HSM3 the final one? Nope. High School Musical 4 is currently being written. But this is the last one with the current cast and characters (although I guess they'll probably make minor cameos in the sequel).
June 17, 200817 yr Author The cast have confirmed that this will be the last one for them.. Details of HSM4 are currently unknown and last i heard no script was being written. They are just in talks...
June 17, 200817 yr Just to point out when it says the cast won't be returning, it means Zac won't be returning.
June 17, 200817 yr If the same cast don't return it might be a bit weird? I guess HSM3 is the graduation film..? It'll be similar to what they are doing with skins I suppose, with HSM4?

It'll be similar to what they are doing with skins I suppose, with HSM4? Yes, although they're introducing some of the new cast in HSM3 (confirmed new characters are Rocket, Donnie and Tiara). HSM's biggest problem was they made the characters too old in the story, meaning their storyline has naturally reached its end (unless they do University Musical or something). The above new characters are around 14/15 year olds (Disney has learnt from their one big mistake). I'm also going to take a guess and say they might use the last few minutes of HSM3 to introduce the new characters. Like a Junior High bus comes, and Troy and Gabriella have to show the new kids around, as they reflect on their adventures. Or they could just save that for the DVD, and rake in an extra few millions. Edited June 18, 200817 yr by Oral Fixation

June 18, 200817 yr There introducing three more main characters into High School Musical 3, so I guess they will be in HSM4. The only one's I can see returning are Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel- they don't seem to have as much of a 'career' as Ashley, Zac or Vanessa.
June 19, 200817 yr Apparantly it was just the cast jumping around in their graduation robes. You couldn't even make out the sound.
