Posted June 22, 200817 yr We all know Kylie's first love is on the dance floor. 'X' has already had a helpling hand from Calvin Harris and Freemasons, but I personally felt let down by X as I thought it was a bit of a step back in some ways. Maybe she would've benefited from working with some of the above producers? So out of the list, which producer would you most like to see her work with for next time? My vote goes to Fedde - the man is an unbelievable talent, especially when hooking up with the diva's. Just listen to the magic he made with Ida Corr last year! I honestly think it would be a glorious moment in pop if they made a track together! P.S. I didn't include Xenomania in the line up (producers for Girls Aloud) as it's too much an obvious option and - not strictly speaking - dance.
June 22, 200817 yr Working with some of those would be tragic; my god, Kylie with Fedde Le Grand or Seamus Haji?! That'd be absolutely awful, she's not just some trashy dance vocalist. I voted Richard X but he's well past his sell-by now. Realistically I'd like her to work with Xenomania and Greg Kurstin.
June 22, 200817 yr Author Kylie with Fedde Le Grand or Seamus Haji?! That'd be absolutely awful, she's not just some trashy dance vocalist. I dare say a large fraction of 'X' is trashy and forgettable. You just can't categorise Seamus and especially Fedde as trashy, regardles of your opinion. Fedde has well and truly proved he's no one trick pony. Richard X is NOT past his sell-by date. He's produced a lot of the Sam Sparro album, which is excellent, and produced a lot of Annie's forthcoming album, which I've high hopes for. Edited June 22, 200817 yr by ScottyEm
June 22, 200817 yr Author Fedde Le Grand but The Knife would be amazing 2 Aye! All these amazing, innovative producers out there and she could've worked with ANY of them - but decided to play is 'safe' with X. I think Robyn's ubiquous self-titled album puts 'X' in the shade.
June 22, 200817 yr She did two tracks with Mylo that didn't make the final cut of X and were pretty average.
June 22, 200817 yr Author How is Fedde and his rehashed dance beats innovative? If we need to post-mortem all music, it's all rehased to an extent. But I struggle to compare Fedde to any other dance producer. He has a unique sound.
June 22, 200817 yr I went for Richard X out of those options. But I think a Kylie/Xenomania production would be amazing. Dannii should work with Fedde le Grand as she's more dance orientated.
