June 24, 200817 yr games of UK intrest today Venus Willams (USA) V Naomi Cavaday (GB) 4-3 Keothavong (GB) V King (USA) 4-6 6-2 0-1 Updated 7-6 6-1 and 4-6 6-2 6-3 Britians Keothavong plays Venus Williams in the 2nd round. How did Venus get this, two brits in the first two rounds?
June 26, 200817 yr Chris Eaton gave such a good effort today. He definitely showed his potential at times... his serve is excellent too. If he works a bit more on his returns, then he could become quite some player. He definitely needs to be nurtured though, but I have the feeling that he might start to have a bit too much pressure but up upon him much like Henman.
June 26, 200817 yr Some faves out today including Maria Sharapova and Andy Roddick :o Murray through to next round; which I'm pleased about.
June 27, 200817 yr Djokovic is out, as Safin was playing great against him! :o But, Tipsarevic is still in and he is playing amazing! :yahoo: Take a look: 52e3KnmJOTA Roddick was very nervous and funny in some moments.
June 27, 200817 yr Top seed Ana Ivanovic is out on straight sets 6-1,6-4 against Wild card entry Jie Zheng :o
June 27, 200817 yr Yes, that is surprise. But, if you look better, she was very close to lose even the match before this one. I guess she's tired after winning Roland Garros. :/ Now Jelena Jankovic have chance to be new #1!
June 28, 200817 yr great win for Murray - I remember last year it was raining at this time! Now Nadal on court
