Another fairly busy week for new entries but none of them trouble the top of the chart as Elbow stay atop with the rather wondrous "One Day Like This". After the performance at Glasto, there is every chance it will continue to reamain at the top. The Rascals, those mates of The Arctics, release a fantastic single and move upto #2, just eclipsing Cage the Elephant who reach a new peak with In One Ear. This single is infinitely preferable to their current single which seems to be a rather pallid copy. The Music and The Subways move into the top 10 with their new singles while The Courteeners enjoy having two singles in the Top 10 as "NYDNYD" debuts at #10.

The Ting Tings follow them in at #11 while The Kills get their fourth hit of the year at #13, both tracks' position being influenced by Glasto performances.

The last new entry is at #19 as Kings of Leon's "Fans" creeps into the chart after the Friday headline support slot.
