July 1, 200816 yr I wouldn't say they are "songs everyone has heard". I've only got 4 of those on iTunes and they're all album tracks that I'm not hugely familiar with. "Strung Out" is the only one I can hum the tune of out of these entries. I feel like I should know the KT Tunstall song, but I think I'm confusing it with some lyrics from another song of hers - "her face is a map of the world, is a map of the world" - which is from "Suddenly I See" but it contains the word "world" in the opening lines so I'm thinking I know it. July 1, 200816 yr Oh yes, I have heard the KT Tunstall track, it's one that I've never bothered to download maybe because I didn't know who the artist singing it was. This list isn't complete anyway. I think Dalisska, Bokia, Eledan and probably a few more are missing.

July 1, 200816 yr Well Ive only gone for Kate Nash - Skeleton Song because last time I entered an unkown and look where that got me :drama: at least you're sending an album track and not a single :heehee: I listened to the Gavin Mikhal track a couple of times (despite it not being in my semi) and thought it was alright, but the sort of thing I'd give 1-3 points to I sent unknown Delta and Natasha tracks and came 18th both times in the first two contests...just because you fail with an unknown singer once, don't give up...I have sent 4 out of 5 unknown songs since my first two failures and all have come top ten :cheer: unless I'm very much mistaken and Sibel and Untouched are both global stars :P
