Come on Alphabeat :D

Boyfriend is so great, I'd have said its far more radio friendly than 10,000 Nights, and far more 'hit potential/festival singalong potential' so I hope it does well for them and doesn't end up being a Moving Mountains type, low top 40 hit

Blackout Crew. :puke:

They're from my hometown, it's rather depressing :( :( :puke2: :puke2:

Don't take down to me. 'Yet again'? It's you who thinks this silly, uneducated girl, whose lyrics actually encourage homophobia in a sense, could ever be remembered in 5 years, let alone 25. There is not a cat in hell's chance that I Kissed A Girl is a classic in the vain of Head or Toxic, and more fool you if you really think so.

This argument will be really old now but I 100% agree with you. I don't particularly like any of the other songs TiP cliamed to be classics but I'd say they are great pop songs which will become classics even if I don't like them much. However I Kissed A Girl is the most overrated piece of $h!t in years, worst number one since America (which is in my top 5 worst number ones ever) as far as I'm concerned!

I Kissed A Girl is clearly going to become a pop classic, there's no doubt about that.

It’s a blatant pisstake! Either way its generated a million views and 5k of comments on youtube, its certainly provoked a reaction! Could well end AATW’s poor run on the singles front!

Funny there was a time when the government loosing it, house prices crashing, and recession. The music industry was going through a format transition (from vinyl to CD’s) and single sales were low. Sound familiar? The late 80’s / early 90’s produced some fierce commercially successful dance music. Could history repeat and within a few years the charts become overrun with donk/hard house/techno? Scary thought.
