Posted July 1, 200817 yr Britney Spears could be given a chance to redeem herself at the next MTV Video Music Awards. The singer chose to make her pop comeback at the event in September last year, but her disastrous performance of 'Gimme More' was widely criticised. Despite her lack of success last time, MTV Networks Music Group president Van Toffler has hinted that the star could be asked to perform again. He told the AP: "Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?" Asked if he was joking, Toffler replied: "Sorta. Who knows?" Britney's mother recently revealed that her daughter is planning to move back home to Louisiana. DIGITALSPY
July 3, 200817 yr Sure, he said that. It doesn't mean she's gonna perform though. I'd probably say there is a 1/100,000,000 chance of that happening. I just can't see it.
July 4, 200817 yr She's definitely in a better place to do it than she was last year - but God, if she does, it has to be right. And that's a lot of pressure to put on her.
July 4, 200817 yr I don't think she'll be releasing a new single yet by the time the VMA's come around.
July 4, 200817 yr I think she should just go on and re-do the Gimme More performance...and shut everybody up. That would be amazing.
July 6, 200817 yr I think she should just go on and re-do the Gimme More performance...and shut everybody up. That would be amazing. Or maybe just perform "Piece Of Me" or "Break The Ice", or a Blackout medley with the 3 singles.
