Posted July 2, 200817 yr I'm having my first listen right now :D Opinions? Wednesday update has the album 'Top 30', doesn't look good then after Tired Of England went in at #54 last week being on a major label and everything. :(
July 2, 200817 yr I know...really doesn't look like this album will be very successful :( Listened to it a few times through and it seems much better than the reviews are saying it is! Standout tracks for me would have to be: Kicks or Consumption Plastic Hearts (although I think this may get a bit annoying after a while) Best Face Hippy's Son Tired of England Blood On My Shoes (except the 5 minute gap just for about 7 secs of talking at the end, which is taking the p*** a bit really) Not too keen on the slower songs, seems pretty good though overall! :wub:
July 2, 200817 yr Oh $h!t. didnt even relasie it was out. i might have to go illeagal download on this one and then buy it depending on how good it is. at least i'll be familar with the new stuff before Reading (if i see them not to sure if i will).

October 16, 200816 yr Author Tbh apart from Truth Begins and Hippy's Son this just wasn't very good :( It was no suprise they split in the end! It's annoying Carl has dismissed a Libertines reformation though! <_< I presume he meant not yet anyway :P
October 28, 200816 yr "Faultlines" is my fav tune.funny that you dont mention that track.it sounds similar to The Cribs "Shoot the Poets" and Fratellis - Whistle For The Choir". I think its a little gem...
