It's so recognisably JoJo and it's got fresh production but it doesn't pander to current Eurosynth-y trends or generic club lyrics, and even though the lyrics on the whole are quite ubiquitous there's wit in there ('I FAKED IT EEEEVERY TIME!'). I hope it's massive.

May 24, 201114 yr Author ^Other than its been filmed and E! were on the set no not really :( I think once they show the behind the scenes video on E! then we'll know when its being released. I can't imagine it being far though. Can't believe this still hasn't been sent to Radio though :| ETA: Released to iTunes in June according to Rap-Up!

June 14, 201114 yr Author As for what’s next, JoJo confirmed to MuuMuse that “The Other Chick”–a track which recently leaked last month, will now only serve as the buzz single from the singer’s forthcoming studio album. “It’s something cool that’ll introduce people to a more mature me, I suppose. It’s edgy, but it’s a buzz single.” Instead, the album’s official first single will be released in the summer (which JoJo claims she’s “stoked about”), with Jumping Trains to follow in the fall. UGH. More waiting? >:| Also, expect Danja and Darkchild productions to be on the album.
June 14, 201114 yr Author I think after the mess with Blackground, JoJo wouldn't be releasing with Interscope if she wasn't sure that they would do their best to get this album out there. From the interviews I've read she seems really happy with them so while I'm not happy that we have to wait a little while longer, its probably for the best. There was probably going to be a second single before the album anyway so I can't say I'm surprised.
