Sharleen, and Last Shadow Puppets, slipping a bit today, and Kooks, rising slightly. The Wombats, dropping quite, a lot since yesterday. Further on from Kid Rock (currently heading for the top 5, with "All Summer Long". I wonder if a re-release of Warren Zevon`s 1978 U.S. hit "Werewolves Of London" (of which, is one of Kid Rock`s borrowed basslines) could be back, for 2008? Check out, the original, on YouTube http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nhSc8qVMjKM
July 8, 200817 yr In other words, Sharleen is probably very close to the top 20 as it is! :cheer: :yahoo:
July 8, 200817 yr Author Going from, my printout, from 5pm, it look`s like, these fall out of the Official top 40 from Sunday: 99 Problems - Jay Z. Bye Bye - Mariah Carey Pork And Beans - Weezer Jumping All Over The World - Scooter
July 8, 200817 yr I really don't think Sharleen will continue rising. Her physical preorders were quite strong in the beginning of the week, weren't they. So that surely affects her position in the first midweek report. I don't think she will continue selling steadily through the week and I don't think she can rise above 16-17 at the end of the week. Hope I'm wrong with this. However she is doing much much better than what I have expected a week ago.
July 9, 200817 yr Author Updated Weds 9th July (as of 5pm). Remember on a Wednesday, the chart is equivalent, to the one that used to turn up, in the Sunday People, and Mail On Sunday. That is because, today`s top 40 without downloads alone, carries the same sales period of those formerly printed, in said Newspapers.
