I announced you and Ojnoj last on purpose as you were both being so overdramatic about thinking you wouldn't qualify :heehee:

I'd only pull out if the number of well known songs was beyond my unknown limit :lol: There's only a couple this time that made me go meh :lol: and on the whole I let album tracks pass me by fine. It's not exactly people's faults if I have the album and have heard something loads of time, as there will be others who haven't.

 

I'd never pull out due to a naff result, even after the disappointment of Nicol and Saving Jane (should have done better but meh) I'm still standing by my unknown policy, and will do in 9. Might try something different in 10 :kink: (i.e. battle of my past acts)

 

I wouldn't send a past act I don't think because...Natasha Bedingfield, Delta Goodrem and Sara Bareilles have already been back, Maria and Untouched don't have any other songs good enough, I don't know of any other songs by Thermostatic, and I don't want to send Andreas Johnson again...

 

Sibel would be my best bet to send back for a second go as her album is full of songs that could do well in this contest :wub:

Botanikkans cant send a results because nobody is bothering for this month show and havent receive any votes...that means they dont care who is going to win even if Ace Of Base does.

The Herzebanian head of delegation is putting forward the motion for the Buzzjack Broadcasting Union to consider for the next contest, that some sort of penalty is put into place for semi-finalists who don't vote.

Wow that was hard :mellow: It was so easy in the semi-final aswell, I gave points to songs I rated 6/10 in the semi, yet in the final my top 8 were rated at 9/10, and then 4 others were on 8/10, so 2 had to be cut :(

Oh, I wasn't there at the semifinal results until the end and if anyone was suprised it was me.... I thought I was going to get nul to be honest (or at least last). Not that I would have been too sad though - a different language song is always risky so I was mentally prepared.

I'm not sure if I'll be here. I mean, if I'm at work until 5.00pm but I work in an office and can always access from there- but we've got a lot of sickness at the moment so I might have to do a later shift aswell. We're see, if not- Kate Ryan better win. :P ;)

According to the ridiculously strict NSC rules, Botanikka can't participate in the next edition. Normally I would disagree with this, but quite frankly their sulky and selfish approach leads me to believe that this is quite possibly the way forward - maybe having this rule in place for intentional non-voting would be a better approach ^_^

 

And of course, words will have to be had with Rivandia :smoke:

Maybe in the future, for the non-voters who have been online since voting started, disqualification could be the way forward, but for those who haven't for whatever reason actually been online, a lesser penalty could be put into place?
