Posted July 17, 200816 yr I logged on to say that Colourblind is played all the time in Corfu, as my daughter has just returned form there saying how supirsed she was on hearing it so often, but all that seems so pointless and insignificant now I have read the tragic news on .net. I cant quite get it in to my head at present, as she was such a joy to have on these forums an dloved daruis so much but it puts everything into persective. Brought from .net Magda posted..... It is with great sadness that I'm writing this post. I received a message today from Alison, Helen's daughter, who wanted me to pass on the very sad news that Helen passed away on Sunday. "I knew my mum was one of Darius biggest fans and really enjoyed talking to people who felt the same. Mum wanted us to play two of his songs journeys end and live twice at her funeral which is taking place on tuesday at 10am. She was a very special person and i know she had a lot of friends so if you could please let people know for me and my family i would be very greatful." I know that Helen was a much loved member of our community here and am sure that many of you would like to remember her, and maybe share some of your memories here in this thread. The first time I met Helen was at Culzean castle when we were part of the group who presented Darius with the wonky cross for his birthday. I also met her several times at various stage doors and remember her as a warm, friendly and very lovely person. She will be very sadly missed and my prayers go out to Helen's family. July 17, 200816 yr Oh my goodness PIP I onloy realised the news when I read your post here. I had been on Net but missed it. It does put things in perspective. I didnt know helen but always enjoyed her posting. It is so sad.
July 17, 200816 yr It is so sad. I'm sending a donation to her daughters charity link. I just couldn't believe it. It seems so unfair. She was one of the nicest women I've met. Her youngest must only be 12/13 - far too young. I know you're never old enough to lose your Mum but the family should have had her for a lot longer.
July 17, 200816 yr It is terribly sad. I couldn't believe it either. I met her a few times and chatted about her family. Her two boys are similar ages to my daughters. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
July 17, 200816 yr I'm floored.....even though I knew Helen had cardiomyopathy she seemed so well and when she posted she was always so busy. The poor family thay must be so shocked. It's good to hear Darius has sent them a message. He's a good lad.
July 17, 200816 yr I'm shocked to the core about Helen. She was a very warm and lovely lady. I never suspected she had any ongoing illness. My thoughts are with her family. I too was on .net and missed the post. I'll go back over now.
July 17, 200816 yr Sorry to hear this terrible news. Please pass on my condolences on behalf of Buzzjack management to Helen's Family. It was great to have her posting here about the music she enjoyed so much.

July 18, 200816 yr I didn't know Helen and doubt I ever spoke one word to her but i'm very saddened to hear this. She will be a very much missed member of the community, please pass on my condolences. R.I.P.
July 18, 200816 yr I didn't know Helen, I often see her posting in this forum when I frequent visit and gets on well with everyone, far too young with a very young family, I'm terrible with words when it comes to say something like this, just don't know what to say, I just like to pass my condolences to her family & friends.
July 18, 200816 yr I met Helen several times at Darius events (Lincoln Castle was the most memorable where we all had such a laugh!!) and she was such a genuine and friendly lady. R.I.P.Helen, we will all miss you  Julie
