Posted July 19, 200817 yr So this week an insider on Popjustice said that the Freemasons have been working on a new track with Dannii (not a cover) and yesterday the Daily Mirror confirmed it. Edited December 19, 200816 yr by Jarkfrost
July 19, 200817 yr I'd love a new album... but I'm not believing that will happen unless I see it on the shelves. And jesus christ, how would a duet with Kylie be good? As if Dannii doesn't get compared to Kylie enough.
July 20, 200817 yr ^ Same, but at the same time it would probably do well in the charts due to Kylie's part in it... Good for Dannii!

July 20, 200817 yr everyone is entitled to their own opinion Look, I know that. I wasn't denying anyone the right to an opinion at all... so I'd really appreciate not trying to be patronised. :(
July 20, 200817 yr But anyway, a duet with Kylie would not be beneficial to Dannii whatsoever. Dannii gets accused far too much of "being in Kylie's shadow" quite unfairly, this would be made so much worse. If they released it as a single and it did well, people would say "she can only get success with Kylie's help". Basically if this were to happen, all these years of Dannii trying to carve out her own name and identity would effectively go down the drain.
July 20, 200817 yr can i do anything right anymore!?!?!? cant seem to say anything without offending someone i would not it as a single just a track on the album
July 20, 200817 yr Author The thing with it being a mere album track is that everybody would be calling for it to be a single and would get p!ssy if it didn't get a release. I think what would be best would be if it was a Children In Need single not included on any album...
July 20, 200817 yr I'm not really a Dannii fan, and unless it is absolutely amazing i don't think they should bother. I would imagine there would be a lot of media attenton and it was c**p or failed to chart well they would both be ridiculed in the press (e.g. Headlines by the Spice Girls :P ) Saying that, Kylie is a big seller so i couldn't imagine it selling poorly...
July 20, 200817 yr hmm... every way you look at this there are many downsides to it best option would be a single only charity single
July 20, 200817 yr A Freemasons produced collaboration between Kylie and Dannii might be something wonderful...
July 20, 200817 yr I hope a new album does come for the dannii fans as they have waited a long time for a brand new album. i wouldn't mind a kylie and dannii duet, yes dannii always gets compared to kylie etc and that will always be the way so she may as well use it to her advantage and maybe score a number 1
July 21, 200817 yr I'd love a new album... but I'm not believing that will happen unless I see it on the shelves. Same here. I think this album could be successful, given that she is now one of the X factor judges and has a lot of exposure. ^_^ But with AATW as her record company, I don't believe they will have a good promotion plan for her album. -_- Edited July 21, 200817 yr by Red Blooded Man

July 24, 200816 yr new album would be cool although there was six new tracks on the hits and beyond (weren't some of these recorded for her 5th studio album prior to it being cancelled?) so its not really a 6 year wait is it? (as well as touch me like that which should have done better). either way sounds cool, and it seems you can't swing a cat without hitting a successful freemasons mix now so should work well for her :P
July 25, 200816 yr Author ...it seems you can't swing a cat without hitting a successful freemasons mix now so should work well for her :P :o What a fabulous phrase! :heehee: And I agree about TH&B. For those interested Dannii is scheduled to perform at the final night of G-A-Y at the Astoria, this Saturday in London... Edited July 25, 200816 yr by Jark
