There are two films from 2008 in the top 25 already Wall-E (22) and Batman: The Dark Knight (1) and NOTHING from 2007 made the Top 50

My fave Disney Pixar films (As well as Wall.E of course :P) Finding Nemo and Toy Story are at...

148 and 181

TBH I expected Toy Story higher :o

TBH, I think "The Dark Knight" will probably settle down a bit after more votes are in... Probs to around 8.5/8.8 or thereabouts.... Cant see it remaining higher than The Godfather or Pulp Fiction when a similar amount of votes (the 300,000 mark) are cast....
But still, 9.5 is pretty damn good. :o

yeah i agree - think long term star wars will end up rated higher - once all the hype has died down

You're absolutely right. I should imagine in a year's time from now - it won't even be in the IMDb top 100. Its usually the way with IMDb (apart from BJ - another of my virtual homes) time distinguishes classics from other 'flavours of the month'. Which is the reason that true deserving films such as the Godfather and The Shawshank Redemption have held on to their placings within the top 5 for as long as they have.
