Posted July 22, 200817 yr Here is the Fresh Hits Top 50 (Sunday 17th August) (Remember these are based on the official chart, with added pre-orders (physical/download). Any song descending outside the top 10, for more than 2 weeks running, has been dropped (for that fresh up to date sound). By doing that, the chart is weeks ahead, of anything (and not biased like certain Radio Stations playlists, and truly reflects the public on future releases). 01 01 I Kissed A Girl - Katy Perry (3rd week for Katy) 02 02 All Summer Long - Kid Rock 03 05 Man Who Can`t Be Moved - Script 04 03 Love Is Noise - Verve 05 04 Dance Wiv Me - Dizzee Rascal 06 09 Disturbia - Rihanna 07 27 Beggin` - Madcon 08 06 No Air - Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown 09 07 5 Years Time - Noah And The Whale 10 ne The World Should Revolve Around Me - Little Jackie (downloads/pre-orders) 11 08 Closer - Ne Yo 12 10 All I Ever Wanted - Basshunter 13 18 I Like You So Much Better - Ida Maria 14 12 Shut Up - Ting Tings 15 19 Mountains - Biffy Clyro (pre-orders) 16 16 Pjanoo - Eric Prydz (pre-orders) 17 15 Mercury - Bloc Party 18 11 Body On Me - Nelly 19 ne Daddy`s Gone - Glas Vegas (pre-orders) 20 14 If This Is Love -Saturdays 21 25 I Decided - Solange 22 ne Spiralling - Keane (downloads) 23 13 Baditude - Dave Spoon & Co. 24 46 Save The Lies - Gabriella Cilmi (pre-orders/downloads) 25 23 She`s Like A Star - Taio Cruz (downloads/pre-orders) 26 ne Baby Let`s Play House - Elvis etc. (pre-orders) 27 29 Boyfriend - Alphabeat (downloads/pre-orders) 28 ne Stepping Stone - Duffy (pre-orders/downloads) 29 ne See You Again - Miley Cyrus (pre-orders/downloads) 30 31 All I Wanna Do - Paul Weller (pre-orders) 31 38 Look Out Sunshine - Fratellis (pre-orders) 32 ne Steve McQueen - The Automatic (pre-orders) 33 28 Because The Night - Cascada 34 26 Disco Lights - Ultrabeat 35 30 Moving Mountains - Usher 36 37 She Left Me - Go: Audio 37 ne Summertime - New Kids On The Block (pre-orders) 38 33 It`s Not About You - Scouting For Girls 39 ne Fallin`Down - Oasis (downloads) 40 53 In The Ayer - Flo Rida (pre-orders/downloads) 41 42 Kiss With A Fist - Florence And The Machine (downloads) 42 34 Sweet Home Alabama - Lynyrd Skynyrd (downloads) 43 35 Ultraviolet - Stiff Dylans 44 45 Bitter Sweet Synphony - Verve (downloads) 45 52 Sexy Can I - Ray J. July 23, 200817 yr Author NOTE: It is true to say, that when the pre-orders are officially released, they can appear more than 20 positions further down in the official chart (this depends on overall combined physical/downloads, and the omitting of falling songs). More often (than not), the top 10 is the same, as the official chart (unless figures, for pre-orders are enormous). This will usually affect positions, outside the top 20. I had a few emails about this chart. I started to produce it, in Sept 2006 (when Emap`s "Smash Hits Chart", was cancelled). Originally (2003-05), the Smash Hits Chart was miles ahead, of anyone else (with votes/sales and airplay from tv music channels). In the May of 2005, it became a carbon copy of "Hit40uk", but used MRIB`s top 10 sales chart. We run the "Fresh Hits Chart", on a Student Station on a Sunday. The playlist, is taken from that chart (not the chart, from the playlist). This creates, a fresh playlist, of new songs, each and every week. There is no monatomy of other stations playlists (for a "fresh" sound).

August 18, 200816 yr Author Is that Elvis mix really getting released?  I remember it was a #1 in Italy last year. Great remix! Yep, anticipating the release on 8th Sept. Top 20 hit definate. Looking pretty good in the whole chart. Certainly it predicts accurate futures in the top 15, or so. Bloc Party we forecast, 2 weeks ago. Then there is the up, and coming "Mountains", of Biffy, not to mention Eric Prydz! The Glas Vegas track was put back on release, `til next week (25th). Another top 20, for the Glas.
