To be honest I hate themes, as some might struggle to find a track that suits them.

it's not broken, but with all these complaints about weak tracks, the cracks are obviously starting to show -_-

uhm it will be OPTIONAL spinoffs with bunch of difrent themes...so we can make a number of countries like 26 or sth so the first 26 countries that sign in will compete!so we not gonna have semi finals and it will last shorter...but still a lot of fun :w00t:

of course it will not have any conections with the main contest...

I like the semi finals because I listen to the songs more and even after the semi final and final I usually change my opinions on songs after the contest. Like from BJSC7, 'Sandcastle Disco' would get my 12 now and I would give 'Just Dance' high points. I always seem to get into songs after it's too late, which is why I've tried to listen to them more this time around.

 

As for the new countries sending songs that aren't to our taste, I think only 2 have done that. The weak tracks must be from somewhere else?

 

I don't think the main contest should have themes but having spin off contests would be a good idea, that way if someone didn't like the theme the wouldn't need to enter they could just enter the main contest instead and have free choice of song.

 

Also I like semi's actually in the main contest anyway, it makes me feel good when a song I picked has made it into the final. ^_^

As for me i think Heat 2 is odd tbh :(

 

Heat 1: Natasha is a complete FLOP, believe me :rofl:, haven't heard this Lisa Scott-Lee, Rihanna's BD or Jordin's OSAAT are much better but i still doubt they will get anything good :(

Breakin' Dishes is probably my favourite Rihanna song, but it's a song that 99% of BuzzJack already knows so I think many would consider it a 'cheap' entry.
