Posted July 27, 200816 yr Bit bland but nice to hear her again ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2ZttHk5grw
July 27, 200816 yr It''s not bad, but I'm not an Akon fan I think he ruined the song. But her voice is still great. Hope it's not her comeback single :though.
July 27, 200816 yr Really boring. Certainly no "It's Not Right But It's Ok". She's had much better duets too
July 27, 200816 yr Back to the drawing board Whitney I agree. -_- Whitney is an artist I've always enjoyed listening to, but this "comeback single" is just TOO DULL. It sounds a bit like a Mary J. Blige album track to me, I think it's slightly similar to 'Stay Down' by MJB. (though I really like that song) This just seems like a desperate comeback song like "I never left, please say I still have a place in the business" she doesn't directly say that, but that's what it seems like. Having Akon on the track just makes me like it less. I don't think this would have been a bad album track, but a for COMEBACK single, after a long absence, it's just so disappointing. You can do better Whitney. :( Edited July 27, 200816 yr by BJBB Aaron
July 27, 200816 yr It's not her comeback single. The label leaked it to test the waters, apparently. Oh good. Mikal told me it was her lead single yesterday. -_-
July 27, 200816 yr It reminds me of Mariah Carey's We Belong Together in so far that is a midtempo song and was quite a welcome change/relief to hear the diva just singing the song like she is capable of doing and ruining the song by vocal gymnastic showboating that she is more than capable of doing. In short I really like it, and I've never been a big fan of Whitney.

In short I really like it, and I've never been a big fan of Whitney. Agreed! I absolutely LOVE this. Which isn't too strange because i'm a huge Whitney fan and as Rich says it's a bit reminiscent of my favourite track EVER (in Mariah's We Belong Together - of course). I don't think it'll go down too well as a lead single but definitely as an album track. J'adore.
July 28, 200816 yr Oooh I Like - and Akon does NOT ruin it IMO! I don't think he does either and I don't even like Akon. :o Oh and I was going to say that the only thing that separates this from WBT is the fact that Mariah hits the massive notes at the end whereas Whitney doesn't. Perhaps intentional? Or perhaps because she can't anymore? I'll wait for the album to decide which!
July 28, 200816 yr i like the song, and nice to hear whitney again.. Edited July 28, 200816 yr by khaty
August 1, 200816 yr This has grown on me a lot and i really liked it in the first place. Really great song, hope its on the album.
August 6, 200816 yr I don't really like Akon on this song. What's with the damn KONVICT line he always has to say? Like it's going to make me want to buy your hideous CD you alien runt -_- As for the track it did make me laugh when I first heard it but for some reason I find myself keep playing it. It's very mellow and pleasant to listen to tbh and Whitney sounds amazing but she can do much better than this.
August 7, 200816 yr hmm haven't heard it yet, hope I like it better than what some of you are saying ha
