Posted August 8, 200816 yr This is the semi-final thread, you have from now until Tuesday 12th August at 7pm to send a PM to me (thisispop) with your favourite songs from the semi-final that your country is in. Each semi-final has 21 songs in it so you will end up voting for 10 of the 20 songs as one will be your own, which you are not allowed to vote for. Nonsuch (BJSC8 winner) & United States of Jack (BJSC8 runner up) have therefore pre-qualified for the BJSC9 Final. However they must listen to all of the songs in their particular semi finals and cast a sets of votes, for their designated semi (Nonsuch - Semi Final 1; United States of Jack - Semi Final 2). Please award your points in the normal way, your favourite gets 12 points, 2nd gets 10 points, 3rd gets 8 points and then down in 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 for the remaining seven countries you wish to award points to. I will compile the results to reveal the Final & their line up, so any late votes will not be counted and you will have a 33% deduction from your semi-final total score, which may affect your chances of qualification. Please join me on Tuesday evening (around 7.30) where I will announce the 24 countries that have made it through to join Nonsuch and United States of Jack in the final, and will reveal the 18 unlucky losers...I will also announce the draw for the final...the voting thread for the final will be opened at some point (hopefully) Tuesday night, latest Wednesday afternoon/evening. August 8, 200816 yr Sanna should hopefully get through semi 1...its strong but a lot of the countries unfancied in the odds threads are in there too...good to see Camtoro and Leonville separated...no point swapping there...I doubt either will reach the final to be honest...

I did notice a couple of spelling mistakes...Sanna Nielsen not Nielson, and you missed out the 't' in 'nightlife' on Nonsuch's entry :heehee: but other than that, absolutlely fantastic, very professional, and dare I say it, better than my one :cry:
