The fourth & final deliberately very very vague Semi Final update:

 

After 19 sets of votes from SF1 & 14 sets of votes from SF2:

 

Apart from a handful of songs that are as good as qualified, and a handful of songs that are as good as out, it really is tight in both Semi Finals, so the last remaining votes are critical.

 

I am updating the first post with who has & has not voted.

 

I have just sent out a PM remainder to everyone (the eleven remaining) who have yet to vote. As the vote deadline for the Semi Final is 7PM tomorrow, I would hate to deduct points off any nation/song.

nobody is ever out Rich...when I was collecting votes last time, I mentioned that a 'big song' was going out...I can now reveal it was Jester's Kingdom with Wonderful Life by Gwen Stefani! Gwen collected about 7 points from 13 voters and then the next few voters all gave Gwen almost maximum points, meaning she qualified with ease eventually!

I agree - there is some absolute dross in there. There were only eight songs that I could bear to give points to, so I ended up picking a couple of songs that I didn't even like to get some of my points. Velvet had better qualify easily! :smoke:

Yes, I'm aiming on revealing the Finalists & their running order tomorrow evening (circa 19:30 - 20:00 hrs start). Hopefully late tomorrow afternoon when I'm back online I would have had most of the remaining 10 set of votes outstanding.

 

I agree that the second semi final is filled with awfulness, there were only about 5/6 songs i wanted to give points too really, whilst the first semi final has at least 8/9 good songs i could give points too.
