Aw Beth Rowley releasing 'Sweet Hours' as download only is a mistake, artists like her would probably appeal more to the physical market than the download market. It's weird, she was on This Morning this week and she performed 'Beautiful Tomorrow' rather than her single 'Sweet Hours', what a weird decision for her to make. :wacko:

 

I wonder why Beth Rowley hasn't been as successful as Duffy or even Adele because she's quite similar to them, maybe even better.

Odd decision to release on download alone. I do feel her songs lack the same quality that Adele and Duffy possessed with "Chasing Pavements", "Warwick Avenue" etc. but she is a great talent.

 

I was under the impression they were doing a Coldplay with the track? As in. I thought they were releasing it as a payed download this Monday. I'm sure I read they were doing that when I downloaded the track.

Keane would be best off releasing "Spiralling" as a free taster track and then going all out with the next single, otherwise they're fragmenting potential buyers.

 

Nope, there is still nothing scheduled for Rihanna

I'm pretty sure "Disturbia" is going to be the next single. It's trumpeted as such within the radio industry and Capital have just added it to their daytime playlist.

Jack's been and gone - it was an Itunes only release on 14th July. It will be removed next week

I did think so - but was confused seeing it scheduled under "Coming soon..."! I assumed that perhaps they'd pulled the song from release.

 

What about Captain? I think I might be more on the ball saying that one WAS pulled from release? Such a shame that they've received such little support for what is another great album.

The problem is I don't have access to Itunes and because it hadn't appeared on any other download sites I suspected it had just been postponed

 

Haven't been able to find out about Captain, there's no mention of it being cancelled on their myspace

yep he said in a couple of interviews this week it was available for download on the 14th [and his o/s says the 14th] and the physical 22nd :D
