Posted August 9, 200816 yr http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/51/Hellboy_2_poster.jpg/200px-Hellboy_2_poster.jpg Release Date: 20th August Hellboy II: The Golden Army is a 2008 film based on the fictional Dark Horse Comics character Hellboy. The film is directed by Guillermo del Toro and is a sequel to the 2004 film Hellboy, which del Toro also directed. Ron Perlman reprises his role as the titular character. The film was commercially released on July 11, 2008 in the United States and Canada. I've seen the first movie and I really wasn't that impressed by it, seen trailers of the sequel, and it looks much better than the first movie, I might take a gander at this, as I do like Comic Book Heroes
August 9, 200816 yr Well. I hate it and it looks shocking but my bf is insistant on making me to see it with him
August 12, 200816 yr Sorry guys, but I have to say that I really enjoyed this film.... And I quite enjoyed the first Hellboy film as well... Although, this one is better because Del Toro has spent more time on giving us more of his wonderful creatures that look as if they fell out of Pan's Labyrinth.... And Ron Perlman is frankly fanstastic as Hellboy, more perfect casting you just cannot get, his deadpan sense of comic timing is just fantastic... Mike Mignola has had more involvement in this film, co-writing the story with Del Toro this time round, and you can see that this improves things....
August 12, 200816 yr I thought the first one is absolutely terrible if i'm being honest, and I convinced myself that I wouldn't watch the 2nd, but from the trailers and everything it does look really good actually, might be worth a watch.
August 12, 200816 yr I didn't see the first movie, but I thought the second one was...alright. It kept my attention, even though my friend was talking to me the whole time, but I've seen much better.
