I hardly ever get popcorn at the cinema. I always get twizzlers. I don't think I've seen one movie without eating them.

Yeah i know...tho when it gets to the point where your so regular at the cinema that the ice-cream dude not only knows what Ben&Jerry's flavour your gonna have before asking but has already got it waiting

That's good customer service though innit.....?

Sorry man, but I just had to correct your spelling of "flavour"....

As long as its salted popcorn then oh yeah! Mind you, I only ever buy the 'kids' size and it's still far, far too much. I want a 'richie' size which is about 60% the size of the smallest and retails for about £1.50.

But man i was going for that Vermont jamband vibe  - tho with Ben & Jerry's being owned by Unilever who i think are based in the Netherlands maybe i should be 'spcheaking insh the dutcsh accshent' (mmn wonder if they've though of making a hemp flavored ice-cream with added Levi Roots Reggae Reggae sauce for the dutch market  might go well with a scoop of Cherry Garcia in the coffee houses of Amsterdam....

On the other hand Phish food - Its a bit like Bill Gates the musical ice-cream - no wonder some people do the drugs  tho i dont know if Ben & Jerrys have done a Jam (band) flavored ice-cream yet - tho probs won't work in the USA where its called Jelly innit

I never buy anything when I go the Cinema, I just sneak in my own treats, they never check you.
I love popcorn but a small is like $4.50 here. And a small drink is $3.50!

So, that's like four quid more or less for both...... It's cheaper than cinemas here Tyler, trust me.....

I always have popcorn at the cinema :D , but I get it at the shops in the packets not the tubs you can get in the cinema and then bring it along. I only like the salty ones, I can't stand the butter or caramel ones. :puke2:

I once got Nacho cheese at the cinema, they were nice but very expensive....Cinema tickets may seem cheap sometimes but then they up the price on the food in the shops, it's better really to buy snacks in the shops and bring them to the cinema, no doubt they'll eventually make it so you can only eat stuff you buy in the cinema. <_<

Here's the thing, often I do double or triple bills at the cinema having an Unlimited card and all , so this involves spending pretty much a whole day at the cinema... Now, surely I aint the only person doing this, so it seems odd to me that the only thing they have on offer is pretty crappy "food" such as Nachos and Hot Dogs.... Why not some sandwiches...? Wraps...? Pasta salads...? Noodles, etc...? I may be a bit less inclined to sneak in boxes of Tesco/Sainsbury sushi, wraps or sandwiches if Cinemas started to offer more nutritional alternatives for people who spend a day out at the cinema....

I've never met anyone who spends a whole day out at the cinema. I go about 3 times a year and i know its not much but it makes it more special. I watch films on sky though but in a few days the SKY contract expires

It's only Cineworld cinemas that do this Unlimited Monthly thing though.... So, if there's no Cineworld anywhere in your area, it's unlikely you'd meet anyone who does.... These days it costs about 8 or 10 quid to go and see ONE film, so it makes economical sense to go for the card option.... So, yeah, I do take full advantage of the whole "unlimited" angle, why not...?

I basically always go twice in a row If I go to the cinemas. I like going to Nandos for my meals nextdoor to the Cinema if I can aford it, infact it would cost a similar amout for a Nandos meal to a Coke and Popcorn in the cinema. I'm not really fussed on Popcorn anyways, Toffee is my favourite flavour though.

Maybe so! but try getting an extra large popcorn ($7.50) and a large drink ($6.50)

EVEN IF IT IS NOT AS EXPENSIVE, it is still ridiculous! :arrr:

Same here! I can't go to the cinema without popcorn

Morrison's popcorn is awful though! Butterkist is where it's at lol!

I don't really buy popcorn anywhere other than Cineworld, it's amazing.

Scott, how do you pay for the Unlimited cards? :S Like, do they send bills or do you just turn up and pay them? Sorry if I'm being dense lol.

I'm going to invest in one with my student loan, I would've got one just using work wages but am paid at ridiculous times and always end up poooorr really quickly haha.

would be funny if you could smuggle in a microwave   ...got Aldi popcorn a couple of times but if you stick it in your rucksack there's no room for any records and its always seems to be randomly 'maple sirup flavored' ...not had popcorn in a while as i find cineworld's awful, i normally go for an ice-cream and if i go with anyone else from my family they normally buy candyking or m&ms...

its done by direct debit..but you have to sign up for a year...so the best thing to do is just get another account for your direct debit and remember to put in that £12 in the account every month to cover the card..(it more in central london...but i guess it still work out as 2 films a month...btw Scott do you still pay more for all the central London cineworld now your nearest ones are i guess wood green and enfield???)
