I have voted! more weighted towards songs I hadn't heard before this time, with 7 previously unknown songs to me getting points, and three I already knew before the contest

 

wasn't as hard to choose as last time it has to be said...only 2 or 3 countries really missed out on points from me after I whittled it down

Is a recap video getting done or not? :unsure: In any case, Kopecka have finished voting, and found it horrifyingly easy in comparison to previous contests :( Only two countries were removed from the final voting, and it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I've come to expect...like Rontvia, three points stood out MASSIVELY for the Kopecek jury. I knew four of the songs I voted for prior to the contest and six were introduced to me by the contest, and the 12 deserved it MASSIVELY. The hard part was deciding which of them got my eight and which got my ten :(

Oh, and if Sanna Nielsen somehow flops I will SCREAM. (I don't include Margaret Berger because she physically cannot flop with that song :wub:)

I have been introduced to probably five songs I love in this contest, compared to three or four last time, so the standout songs are better, but the weaker songs are weaker, if you catch my drift :P

I've just sent in my votes. I feel like such a bad girrrrrrrllll boy this time, I've gone mostly for artists I'd heard of or from this time which is unlike me.

Does anybody else keep skipping to the songs before your song to see how it will fair in comparison? :kink:

I've just voted......but it was the hardest I've ever had to vote yet, I'd agree that the amount of strong songs is bigger in this contest. A good few songs I really liked missed out on points completly :(

 

But I'm quite happy with my top 10 now. ^_^

I've totted up the scores so far, and lets just say I think they will make interesting viewing next week.

 

My aim is to do the Final Results thread on Tuesday evening. (I'll get as much of the preparation (& double check I've keyed the scores correctly, etc) as I can over the weekend, so that I'll have as little as possible to do early on Tuesday evening after finishing work.

 

I've just realised that it is an international football friendly day of matches on Wednesday evening, so that rules that day out. Otherwise the Results thread will be put back to Thursday. But hopefully it will be Tuesday evening circa 7:30pm start.
