Posted August 15, 200816 yr She has tried cheesy pop, dance, R&B, rock, ballads and electro but what so you want Kylie's next album to sound like??? Eg: With which producers should she collaborate, which musical direction should she choose??? IMO, i prefer that Kylie would try something really different for her next album, i'd really like it to be a mixture of the poppier songs on 'Body Language' such as 'Red Blooded woman', 'Promises' and 'Sweet Music' with electro-funk beats and with collaborations with some highly acclaimed pop and urban producers such as Danja, Bloodshy & Avant, JR Rotem,Will.i.am, Kara DioGuardi, Calvin Harris and many others.... The new album should be still very pop with catchy melodies, but with a more urban production. In that way, she could conquer the US and the international markets for real this time. Previous Songs from her that would fit musically into that album : 'Sweet Music', 'Heartbeat Rock', 'Sensitized', 'Cruise Control'......
August 15, 200816 yr An album bursting with slightly jazzy, funky upbeat pop numbers like Still Standing, Sweet Music, Sensitized etc would be absolutely brilliant.
August 15, 200816 yr I'd really like a full album in the style of the dancier, more electronic pop anthems from X such as In My Arms, Like A Drug, The One etc. But whatever she comes out with I'm more or less bound to love it so I don't mind.
August 16, 200816 yr Author i want it to sound like the music from the Ultimate Kylie period what do you mean, do u want the whole album to sound like 'I believe in you'???
August 16, 200816 yr what do you mean, do u want the whole album to sound like 'I believe in you'??? There's 'Giving You Up' too don't forget (which I always deemed as being a country mile better). She worked with Xenomania for that, I'd like a few productions by them also as they know good, solid gold pop.
August 16, 200816 yr what do you mean, do u want the whole album to sound like 'I believe in you'??? there is more than just that song, B.P.M , Made of glass, everything i know, giving you up and loving you. they are all great sounding song and if she did an album with a similar sound it would be fab
August 16, 200816 yr Spikey, bionic pop! Pop with edges. I think she should hook up with Fisherspooner, what they did with 'Come Into My World' was unbelievable! And she does this on every tour, so it's obvisous Kylie is quite a fan. 'X' has it's moments, but it was badly let down with a lot of watery loungey tracks. She needs to throw herself in with ultra innovative producers and make that album that makes me go WOW!
August 18, 200816 yr A mix of "Fever" and "X", a great dance/pop record without things like "2 Hearts" and more songs like "The One", "Love At First Sight", "In My Arms" and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head"
August 18, 200816 yr there is more than just that song, B.P.M , Made of glass, everything i know, giving you up and loving you. they are all great sounding song and if she did an album with a similar sound it would be fab Totally agreed!
February 20, 200916 yr Author A mix of "Fever" and "X", a great dance/pop record without things like "2 Hearts" and more songs like "The One", "Love At First Sight", "In My Arms" and "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" you're sooo right... this is also another way to get her old success back!!!
February 21, 200916 yr She needs to do something more credible and mature. Electro-pop but some some classic ballads would be good.
February 21, 200916 yr She should stick to the style of X, more songs like 2 Hearts, LAD, IMA and less songs like All I See and Cosmic.
February 21, 200916 yr I think she should do similar sounding stuff to B.P.M and Made Of Glass, that would really work for her. She should NOT change her sound simply to 'break America' if they ain't interested they ain't interested, i'm not bothered and i'm sure she isn't either.
February 21, 200916 yr i'd like some songs that are similar to The One, In My Arms and Stars, but also a few like Love at first sight and can't get you out of my head too.
February 21, 200916 yr stuff like Speakerphone with some midtempos like Fragile and perhaps just one gorgeous ballad like Loving Days
