.... that will sort her out.... airhead bint or person of intelligence and substance... man she will get some ribbing, should be funny!

She isn't an airhead.

I just love how you're saying that she's an airhead when you have absolutely no evidence to back this up.

I, however, can call you a tw@t and have a full thread to back me up.

eh?.... thats abit hypocritical, what 'evidence' do YOU have that shes not an 'airhead?... and if you care to actually read what i put i didnt call her an airhead... pillock! i was suggesting that her appearance on buzzcocks may help determine just how much of an airhead or intelect she is. plus i believe that she will take any ribbing in good humour, airhead or not... (although i have yet to see a proper adult interview with her, so far all ive seen are vaccuous kids presenters asking her stupid questions that havnt really given her the chance to reveal her character, so far shes just another silly girl)

now before her loyal cavalry of kiddy heroes go defending her, this is not a frankie/saturdays unwarnented negetive post, it is a fair and just comment .

Why Me, Why Now was written by the truly fabulous Alex Cartana and I'm so used to hearing her demo version that it's just weird to listen to The Saturdays version. It's just so pop compared to the demo. The vocals sound exactly the same style and are really good but the backing track is just way too computerised it seems. I do like it, it's just not Alex.

I like the cover, but where's the album name?

A clip of "Keep Her" is on their myspace. Sounds great :D

Yeah, thats quite nice isnt it. Is the album self titled now then?
It's self-titled. Brilliant cover, quite minimal yet epic in a way. It's like they're sat in a modern day auditorium, all clean lines. Lovely.
Nice cover, but why all the bummage from 4music + T4 and that? They're not exactly going to be MASSIVE...

Love that cover :o

But it looks like they don't know where the camera is!

I am actually in love with that cover, best cover in ages!
I've always loved the bit of colour on Black and White photos look  Who did the photography for that cover?
I love the cover, shame its now self titled. can't wait for the release

I don't think it is self-titled, there's a new sub-section on the official forum, titled 'Chasing Lights - a place to talk about The Saturdays first album' (or something to that effect. And the news page on the official site, it says 'Chasing Lights' is the title of the album.

Maybe the title is on side?!

I'll download this I think (with a fairly open mind). 'If This Is Love' is terrible (as I'm sure most of us now agree), 'Up' is a step in the right direction so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the album had some quality stuff on it. I just hope for some decent harmonies. 'Up' is great instrumentally and some quality verses then it all goes wrong round the chorus. Messy-cum-screechy :/

I expect to see them dropped after one album though tbh. The single will sell moderately and the album will bomb. Polydor have spent a fuck-load on them. If they don't manage to recoop most of that/make a profit I don't think they'll risk shelling out making/promoting a second album...

actually ... im not so sure now that their chart life will be short. not because they are that good, they clearly arnt, but with the main rivals the sugababes releasing such rubbish (girls) and girls aloud must be nearing the end of their chart career.. 6 years is a respectable career for a manufactured act ... surely they cant go on much longer... then the saturdays might just be in the right place at the right time and fill a void that the 'big 2' might leave.
