Please can we just discuss the single here. If people want to fight for/slag off the girls - make another thread. I really dont think its fair for people to have to trawl through loads of pointless posts in order to find out when the single is out on download/what the album tracklist is.

While she did come off as quite dumb I think it's totally been blown out of proportion by some of y'all. At the end of the day, it was just an appearance on a tv show I highly doubt most people would even give it a second thought after they turned off their tvs. It really doesn't matter all that much.

 

The whole not knowing her lyric thing only made her seem stupid when she asked what part of the song it was. But I don't think anyone can blame her for guessing wrong; it wasnt that obvious.

 

Anyway I guess Up is out now so we'll see how well they do. I hope the do decent enough to get a second album, cos while my expectations for their debut aren't that high, I feel that they can grow into a really good group but that depends on them and the people around them.

I know, i dont know why they didnt schedule GMTV this week, not last. Blue Peter could shift a few, with the kids liking them but they need another Loose Women appearance or even Paul O'Grady.

 

Although it could be worse, the single couldnt of even entered the iTunes chart yet but i think its done amazingly so far with the lack of promo.

I am loving Up. And i've downloaded the wideboy remix and i love it when there was that strange affect going on near the end. All in all, a very good pop song

And? All of those are totally minor. GMTV is reasonable but that was way before the release so it's as good as forgotten now.

 

Sugababes have promoted Girls with appearances on T4, Strictly Come Dancing, Al Murray, the live lounge, Loose Women and more. Girls Aloud are promoting The Promise on X Factor and more, and have done Radio 1 as well.

 

It's a shame the Sats couldn't get that any decent promo, but like has been said it's not their fault.
