Octupus is already better than the entire Intimacy album. Absolutely hated that rubbish. Loved 'Silent Alarm' and 'A Weekend in the City', though.

I was just thinking that it was weaker than every track on Intimacy - which I think is astonishing and one of the most underrated album of the 00s.

First listen it didn't do much for me but at least I didn't know where it was going. It might grow on me.

i love it!

This is growing on me now at great speed (much like their singles nearly always do), the Daft Punk esque guitars in the middle are rather lovely and the drum work is back to being interesting again.

I don't like the new single much at all but picking singles has never been their strong point.

I think they have been a great single band.
