would replace

Ares

'Ion Square' is in my top 3 on 'Intimacy' definitely, one of my favourite Bloc Party songs in general!

Just loooove the way it builds so much.

Bloc Party have revealed plans to release a new album, and it's looking as though Kele Okereke will still be their vocalist.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Radio 1's Breakfast Show this morning (3rd January), Kele confirmed that the band are currently working on new material for their fourth record, which is set for release late this year.

In the interview, Okereke confirmed the band have two tracks recorded, with a further seventeen in demo form.

The band's last album 'Intimacy' was released all the way back in 2008, with them going on hiatus back in October 2010 as all of the members embarked upon solo projects. Kele himself recently followed up his debut solo album with an EP, 'The Hunter' on 31st October, but controversy hit when reports stated that the singer had left the band permanently.

So, the lesson to learn with this one? Bloc Party is still Bloc Party.

personally, looking forward to their always excellent b-sides.

Oh same! Been listening to 'Another Weekend in the City' quite a bit recently. Damn, their b-sides are always so good.

'Vision of Heaven', 'Selfish Son' and 'Rhododendrons' are my favourites at the moment but they're constantly changing.

Most of their B-sides are better than some Intimacy songs :(

'Four'.

Greetings Bloc-lings. As you may have heard, we've been beavering away over the winter working on a new record, and now that the parks and back-gardens have finally broken into glorious sunshine, we can seasonably announce its birth upon the world.

'Four' came together in a series of back-to-basics writing sessions in New York between November and April, and was skilfully guided, produced and mixed by the patient hands and ears of Alex Newport during two blocks of recording at New York's Stratosphere this spring.

Watch the album trailer:

oh HELLO BEYONCE

I would think so, yes. Four circles, so it kind of FITS the theme.

CAN't WAIT OMG

I really hope that's not the artwork!

Apart from that, incredibly excited about this (surprise surprise).
