I remember the Ashton/Rontvia support campaign for Camille after we both DNQ'd, giving Kopecka the full 24 points between us :lol: how odd that two of the poppiest countries should rally behind one of the most 'indie' songs! :heart:

They also got Vincent's 12 as well :kink:

 

 

That was the only good thing about X for me :lol: Who'd have thought a Scandipop and the TrashyElectroFemPop country would get together and support quite easily the weirdest top10 finisher.

without FSR Ashvia, Money Note wouldn't have gone top ten :smoke:

We may just be two old guard countries, but we're rather powerful :smoke:

not that it was a planned vote or anything, it was purely coincidence - I love Money Note and bought Camille's album off the back of it - head and shoulders above anything else in X for me :wub:

X is probably my favourite contest, along with XXII (for obvious reasons) :wub:

X was good, it all went indie for a month though which was odd - either the indie was all absolutely outstanding that month or the pop was all awful, because usually there's a much bigger balance of genres dominating the top half of the leaderboard :o

 

having said that I voted for loads of the indie pop songs in X - PNAU, Camille etc...so maybe they were all just more accessible/crossover to all audiences than usual that month

Slight exaggeration, but Dundee isn't known for being a nice city. There's a hospital in Kirkcaldy, in my home county of Fife, that has special lighting in the toilets so you can't see any veins to prevent people from shooting up.

 

I've heard many stories about the toilets in KFC and Macca's in the city centre containing drug paraphernalia

We used to have CD's in the one in Cupar, not sure if they still do. I'll check it out when i go home for xmas
