Hellooooo! It's a busy old week for woolies. Looks like the buyers actually got off their arses and bought some singles to sell! Look...

SINGLES

1. Nelly Furtado :cheer:

2. Embrace

5. Duncan James

6. Crazy frog

9. Sugababes

10.The Automatic

11. The Streets

12. Talksport allstars

13. Tonedef allstars

15. Lordi

17. Mariah Carey :o

18. Lightning Seeds

20. Morrissey

21. Hope Of The States

22. Jacko

That's 15 whole new releases this week... which brings a grand total of 36 new singles in 3 weeks! Beats the recent times of only selling 4 or 5 newies a week!

I'm surprised they're putting Nelly ahead of Embrace, but I'm glad! I think people have too much of a choice of football songs this year so none are gonna make a big enough dent to get to number one, so fingers crossed for Nelly! Embrace will probably be the second highest new entry.

The Automatic will definitely be higher. Top 5 probably. I don't think Duncan will get top 10, and that frog will probably miss it too! I also think there's room in the top 10 for Mimi!

ALBUMS

1. Ronan Keating

2. The Feeling

3. Sandi Thom

8. Paul Simon

9. Primal Scream

17. Embrace (Repackaged)

18. LeAnn Rimes

19. Manfred Mann

20. Eagles (Re-entry)

29. Oakenfold

32. The Byrds

I'm not sure if Ronan will be number one this time. It's a tough one to call. The feeling could end up beating him. I don't think Sandi will be quite that high this week - maybe just top 5, while Primal Scream should be higher, and Leann Rimes lower!

How bizarre #5

Who is Duncan James? A boy band member?

12. Talksport allstars

13. Tonedef allstars

Don't know them either, is this football related?

Nelly Furtado and Embrace look about right to me, I can't see Duncan James or Sugababaes going top 10. The Automatic will be a few places higher and Mariah won't make the top 20.

Duncan was in Blue. Together the banmd were good. Solo they have unleashed four of the crappest singers in the world!

And yep - the other two are football. Tonedef allstars was the fave to be number one last month!

Thanks Jester, could be Top10 then. :P

He's at about 120 on downloads alone and the song's not had much exposure, I'm thinking low down in the top 20 if that. Sugababes also missed the top 100 on downloads, which leads me to believe that will fall short of the top 10 too.

Only if it was a good song!

Funny how it's released the week of 6/6/6 - it sounds like it's from the pits of Hell!

I like the Duncan James song but no way will it be that high

Forgot Hope of the states was out this week :o

Nelly for #1 :cheer:

Automatic will be higher than Embrace, Daniel James and Crazy Frog hopefully will miss the top 10.

Sugababes could actually miss Top 10 as well, come on its their 4th single of their album, their 4th singles have never been that high when they are lifted from the album, I predict No.13, unlucky number for some.

Otherwise it looks about right

Hopefully Lordi will make it into top 10, I think it has quite a good chance for doing so since it

already charted inside top 75 with downloads. I doubt Duncan, Sugababes, and Ronan will

get that high (well, Ronan could get no. 1 if a really low figure will be enough to top the

album chart but I seriously doubt that) and hopefully MJ will fail to reach top 40 (and Mariah

will fail to make top 20).

I think they've got the #1 right, although I doubt Embrace will be #2, top 5 is more likley and The Automatic will probably be higher as well.

I also doubt that Ronan will be #1 in the albums either. I think it could be any of The Feeling, Sandi Thom or Primal Scream.

for Woolies that looks scarily how the chart new entries could actually end up, give or take a few positions :o i do hope The Automatic are top 10 *please* i'm sure they will be with consummate ease, it will be a monster smash

well being associated with Talksport, wouldnt you say

Hopefully Lordi will make it into top 10, I think it has quite a good chance for doing so since it

already charted inside top 75 with downloads.

will be interesting as it wont feature that much in the overnights/midweeks at first if its coming out tuesday
